DIY assembly and site preparation
The horse shelter is designed as a DIY bolt-together structure. Components are assembled using supplied fixings, allowing the shelter to be put together without welding.
Before assembly, prepare a suitable level and stable base and make sure you have adequate assistance, tools and access to the installation area.
Tools and preparation
Typical tools: spanners, drill and suitable bits, rubber mallet, measuring tape and spirit level.
Check the supplied assembly instructions before starting. Assembly time will vary depending on site preparation, available assistance and DIY experience.
If you intend to install the shelter on soil, grass or another non-concrete surface, contact us before ordering to discuss suitable anchoring requirements.
Horse enclosure planning
Plan the surrounding enclosure before installation, including fencing, gates, access areas, drainage and the location of feeding or watering equipment.
The horse shelter itself does not include fencing, gates, plyboards or flooring.

Are plyboards included?
No. Plyboards are not included with this horse shelter. The product is supplied as the horse shelter structure and the components specifically listed as included.
Are gates included?
No. Gates are not included. You can arrange gates separately to suit the layout and requirements of your horse enclosure.
Is fencing included?
No. Fencing is not included. The surrounding enclosure is arranged separately by the customer.
Is flooring included?
No. Flooring and ground preparation are not included. The customer is responsible for preparing a suitable installation area.
How high is the side sheeting?
Side sheeting is supplied up to 1.8m high. The overall side wall height of the structure is approximately 2.4m, with an apex height of approximately 2.8m.
Can I move the horse shelter later?
The bolt-together structure can be dismantled and relocated, provided suitable preparation and anchoring are arranged at the new location.
Do I need council approval?
